DAHMER - Irene It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Dahmer announces her passing on Jan. 28, 2002 at the age of 72. She passed away peacefully with her whole family present. Born March 6, 1929 in Rosthern, Sask, Irene met and married Royce Dahmer in Nipawin, Sask. in 1951. The moved to Prince George permanently in 1953 where their family was born and raised. Her life was lived with humor, importance of family and unconditional love. She believed in us, stood by us, supported us and enriched us by her example. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. Left to mourn is her husband of 50 years Royce, 4 daughters: Bev (Dan) Fitzsimmons, Barb (Allan) Hoover, both of Prince George; Charlene (Mike) Schab of Kelowna: Marlene (Fred) Cook of Edmonton; and son Kelly of Burbank, California. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Irene was predeceased by her grandson Anthony Cook, her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. A Memorial Service for Irene will be held on January 31, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Assman’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lance Morgan officiating. Interment to follow at the Prince George Cemetery.
