A round-table debate was planned for the next meeting of the group, which also laid plans for a home cooking sale, to be held in Allan and Hawthtfrne's store on March 6. In celebration5 of St. Valentine's Day, the refreshments which concluded the session carried out the February 14 theme, with heart-shaped cookies and other novelties featured. It was decided to form a special committee for making up the year book, and Betty Hein, Eleanor Burr and Margaret Moffat were appointed. Canyon Creek P-TA Discussed Wells, Piano Canyon Creek Parent-Teachers Association held its regular meeting in the Canyon Creek school on February 8. The question of wells for the two schools was discussed, and, , , _. . . H. W. Lockyer was delegated to! UP within a week and prizes had make further enquiries into the matter. The meeting also discussed the purchase of a school piano. M. Cassidy was elected to take up community recreation and planning. Report cards were explained by the teachers, Mrs. E. A representative group from the Prince George and District Credit Union also attended the Sacred Heart meeting. Speakers R. Rose and W. Kienzle assured their listeners that the two credit unions were co-operating wall and would continue this policy.
