borrow 3000000 from the Canadian Imperial Dank of Commerce and 7500000 from four Japanese companies who will purchase the mines full output for 10 years Granby Mining Co Ltd dev developed ¬ eloped Granisle and how holds about 89 per cent of Issued stock The Japanese companies are Mitsubishi Metal Mining Co Mitsubishi Trading Co Sumo tomo Metal Mining Co and Sumitomo Trading Co Construction of facilities will begin early in 1965 and produc production ¬ tion Is expected to begin early in 1967 The concentrator will have a capacity of 5000 tons a day Plans call for open pit mining and year round use of Dablne Lake to ferry concentrates The lake will be kept open by foi -ing compressed air into the water through pipes pushing relative warmer water from lower levels to the surface to prevent the channel from freezing Trucks will haul the concen concentrates ¬ trates for shipment via CNR 290 miles to Prince Rupert and deepsea bulk loading facilities The mine area has proven ore
