program for the forth coming season Tea was served at the home of Mrs Walter Chen left and was convened by Mrs Lloyd Clay right Mrs W F Amies second from the right was one of the newcomers welcomed Pouring tea for the first group of guests were Mrs Norah Knight seated and Mrs K C Luttrell Wfowuuts World King Sherwood Vows Given at St Michaels Two Prince George families were united recently with the marriage at St Michael and All Angels Church of KathaleenMae Sherwood to David John King The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev Eric Powell Organist was Mrs Margaret Morgan and soloist was silk richly ap pliqued with lace and comple complemented ¬ mented by a lace train bordered with the corded silk Two white roses secured her chapel veil of French Tulle and she carried a cascading bouquet of white daisies with ivy leaves Her single strand of pearls was the gift of the groom Miss Edna Erickson of Prince George was maid of honor and Miss Lynda Roche of anderhoof was bridesmaid Plans Ticket Blitz Prince George Concert Asso Association ¬ ciation Is read to introduce its program for the 10C8 G9 season with a concentrated ticket blitz Two concerts will be added to the four concert Alaska Music Trail series consldeiably in increasing ¬ creasing the annual budget To successfully carry out the progiam the group has enlarged Its executive and now members are ready togotothecommunlt Their first project was a wel welcome ¬ come to new comers and an intro introduction ¬ duction to these people of the associations plans The welcome tea was held at the home of the Morah Knight Mrs Carrie Jane Gray was unable to be pre present ¬ sent Catering committee included Mrs Chet Gazin Mrs Peter Milner Mrs Knight and Mrs GE Rustad Numeious mem members ¬ bers of the association donated food for the occasion and male members of the executive as well as several other interested men attended the tea during the noon hour The tea was held in three sessions to accommodate all the guests Tickets are now on sale for the season and the association has set a target of 400 memberships The six ticket booklet will contain actual tickets for the four Alaska Music Trail programs and exchange tickets for the Canadian Opera The Dai -ber of Seville and the Vancou Vancouver ¬ ver Symphony Orchestra Season tickets offer a considerable sav saving ¬ ing over the 3 per concert tic tickets ¬ kets for the Alaska Music Trail artists and the 5 tickets for the opera and the smpliony All the conceits with the ex exception ¬ ception of the symphony will be held at Vanier Hall Becuase the symphony orchestia can only be here for the one day and because of the packed houses to which they played on their last appear appearance ¬ ance here the symphony will perform at the
