neai Babine Lake from the United Steelworkers of America The Canadian Association of Industrial Mechanical and Allied Workers CAIMAW made the application to the British Columbia labor rela relations ¬ tions board last week Its CAIMAWs first attack on the Steelworkers who averted a breakaway of 3600 Cominco workers this spring to the Canadian Workers Union The board recently rejected a CWU appeal That verdict compels the Cominco employees to stay with the Steelworkers at least for the remainder of this year Unless the pertinent labor statute is changed by the legislatures fall session the
