it

couple

parents
attempt

their
son
with

semblance

tempered
with
exposure
to
the
civilizing
virtues

as
rescue
hopes
fade
completely
the
father
arbitrarily
decides
to
turn
his
son
into
a
primitive
animal
capable
of
staying
alive
after
his
parents
have
died

tragic

more
questions

over
long
obscure

paradoxically
heavy
