' Prime Minister Trudeau told the House Wednesday that the debate, probably next Wednesday and Thursday, should be "a collective contribution 'on the subject of national unity." Trudeau made the statement in reply to charges by John Diefenbaker, former Progressive Conservative !prime minister, that gigantic .July 1 celebrations will be a Liberal party event. Diefenbaker said Dominion Day, called Canada Day by the government, should be a nonpartisan day of celebration, not organized "as a party thing with the prime minister speaking as the leader, which he is not." The two-day debate is being arranged as a parliamentary prelude to the July 1 celebrations which will include a nationally-televised address by Trudeau. When Diefenbaker proposed that opposition party leaders also be invited to address the nationa, Liberals shouted: "Never, never." And Trudeau replied that he would check to see whether Diefenbaker let Opposition leaders speak at July 1 celeb- TRAVELLED SLOWLY The original Model-T Ford, built in 1905, was capable of reaching a speed of 40 miles per hour and cost $850. rations when Conservatives governed the country in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Trudeau did say he would consider having opposition party leaders speak July 1 and claimed he was not aware of the specific program. Diefenbaker said party leaders did not speak at Dominion Day celebrations under his government because it was a nonpolitlcal, national event. Trudeau had said if no party leaders did speak at the time, "I suppose that was the trouble with that period that nobody was leading the nation." "The same seat is going to be there," James Arey of Pan American World Airways said Thursday, "but who is going to be flying it will be different." The agreement was reached just in time to avert a cutoff of most air traffic between the U.S. 5634501 wins 34501 wins 4501 wins 501 wins ml Vion i vft'l ','V,'& 114 Ws film and Britain. Negotiations to replace a 31-year-old pact came after the British said they wanted a bigger share of the $850-million travel market between the two countries. Details of the agreement must still be worked out before the final signing in Bermuda. In New York, Gail Roth of the government-controlled British Airways said Thursday that the carrier hoped to Increase the number of passengers on each flight, but could not say how this would be done. 1 MILLION 1,000 100,000 kopo 5250 100 J PulViurhr4itlMiiN 7861155 wins 61155 wins 1155 wins 155 wins 2565920 Wins 65920 wins 5920 wins 920 wins 51 MILLION ?1,000 5250 5100 MQO.QOO 51,000 ?250 5100 EXTRA PLUS One prize only for the exact number drawn with no additional or supporting prizes for those special prizes 2436088 3093776 4415011 3583533 3013484 1665255 4108465 3615244 2267269 4208138 1464876 wins wins wins wins wins wins wins wjns wins wins wins $100,000 5100,000 5100,000 5100000 5100,000 5100,000 $'100,000 5100,000 5100,000 5100,000 ),000 Miss Roth said British Airways had no plans to cut back the number of its transatlantic flights, but she added: "We haven't seen all the details. We don't know what this will mean in terms of flights" by all airlines. Pan Aid's Arey said, "I don't think this ment is the signal for a reduction in transatlantic fares" because the fare structures are initiated by the International Air Transport Association." Arey said the new agreement was more of a shuffling around of existing flights among airlines than an increase or decrease.
