TV „ toll heavy
  Some of the favorite television shows of the past seasons are wheezing to a halt. Probably the most popular of the late lamented series is Kojak, the police series which stars Telly Savalas.
 Of the 40 new shows which were introduced by the three U.S. networks thisseason, 15 have already been cancelled.
 One of the big disappointments was the Shields and Yarnell Show which appeared to be bright and amusing and immensely clever. But the show never did garner the ratings
necessary to stay alive in the competitive world of television.
 Police Woman and Wonder Woman are rumored to be sickly and likely to expire. Angie Dickenson, who was the principal in Police Woman, will be missed for her legs. Lynda Carter who is TV's Wonder Woman will be missed all over.
  Carol Burnett has vacated her show, but Mary Tyler Moore will be back in the fall in a variety series. All In The Family wiltoe back, but Archie and Edith will carry it this season.
