Supreme Court Justice Ross Lander rejected Tuesday a bid by the trustee of Nelson Skalba-nia’s affairs to obtain $3 million from the sale of the Hotel Georgia to Skalbania's wife. Skalbama’s wife. Ele-ni, through her company, Wedgewood Village Estates Ltd., acquired full ownership of the Hotel Georgia in January, 1982, for $11,472,000. The trustee sought to have the sale of the hotel to Skalbania's wife set aside, saying it was sold for about (3 million less than the market value and that he wants the money for Skalbania's, creditors. The trustee made his application under the; Bankruptcy Act, but George Macintosh, re-; presenting Wedgewood,i argued that there was nol bankruptcy, but only a proposal. Justice Lander upheld the submissions by Macintosh and said that to give the trustee the; right of absolute owner-1 ship in the Skalbania properties would be to do something which the act does not contemplate. Justice Lander also awarded Wedgewood costs. conservatory’ result* Honors: Stacy Sandra Gomboc. Lynn Palmer, Donna Jones. Darin Robert Swanson. Karen Irene Bradford.
