 Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen star in this favorite Brothers Grimm classic. Sophisticated make-up and costuming techniques turn McDowell into the hapless wolf who, after months of a meat-free diet, comes upon the unsuspecting Red Riding Hood (Steenburgen) and her tough little granny, played by Frances
 Bay, and lets his baser urges get the better of him. After making a meal of the two, the replete wolf settles down for a nap.
 When Red’s sweetheart discovers the sleeping wolf, he cuts him open and saves Granny and Little Red. Only the wolf is left out of the happy ending. Written by J. David Wyles with Mark Curtiss and Rod Ash and directed by Graeme Clifford.
