VOLUNTEER SERVICES COORDINATOR
MINISTRY OF SOLICITOR GENERAL CORRECTIONS BRANCH PRINCE GEORGE YOUTH CONTAINMENT CENTRE
Applications are invited from interested individuals or groups for the provision of Volunteer Coordinator Services on contract for the Prince George Youth Containment Centre. A total of 1242 hours of services (July 1, 1991 - March 31, 1992) are required at the rate of $12.00 per hour.
Services include:
- Recruitment of volunteers and groups to work with residents of P.G.Y.C.C.
- Development and implementation of a training program for volunteers.
- Public relations activities to help in the recruitment, selection and training of volunteers.
- Liaising with various community groups, organizations (social, cultural, religious and volunteer) to promote use of volunteers at P.G.Y.C.C.
