RONALD (RONNIE) RAY BYE FEB 6, 1950 -AUG 16, 2011 Our “RONNIE BYE” has left us for a “FOREVER COFFEE BREAK’.’ His radio is silent, the microphone in its place and his toys put away. His last log book page is free and he has taken his “FIRST FLIGHT’.’ His family asks that you remember him with jokes, laughter, music and lots of coffee for these were his life. “Ronnie” came into this world on Feb. 6, 1950 in Oregon City, Oregon and immigrated here with his parents in 1952. School and books were not his interest in life, so he chose absolutely anything with an engine and tracks or wheels to operate and earn an honest living. Ron owned and operated trucks and had a landscaping business. One of Ron’s greatest achievements was to operate a highway tractor for over “ONE MILLION LOGGED MILES - ACCIDENT FREE”. Of course he had put on many, many more accident free miles that were not logged. Ron’s record for operating any piece of heavy equipment went unblemished as well. “Ronnie” married Judy on Sept. 25, 1970. Their two sons Scott and Randy brought so much pride into his life. Ron spent many hours teaching them the mechanics necessary to keep “anything” running, how to pull “wheelies” on a bush bike and the fine art of laying two strips of rubber on the pavement with a “hot car”. The last few years Ron and Judy spent every spare moment on their quads exploring the outdoors. The love Ron had for family and friends, the pride Ron took in each and every job he took on will be remembered always. A celebration of his life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to the Rotary Hospice House. Love you “ALWAYS”RONNIE. Judy, Scott and Randy PERPETUAL TRANSFORMATION of the body mind and soul.
