 Calgary Hitmen joining the Cougars
     The naming of Calgary’s WHL expansion franchise probably came down to a cage match between Bret Hart and Theoren Fleury, two of the owners.
     It’s obvious the World Wrestling Federation veteran won.
     The Calgary Hitmen will begin play in the Western Hockey League next year and will play out of the Calgary Saddledome. The club is owned by a number of notable figures including Fleury, Bret ‘the Hit-
  man’ Hart, Joe Sakic and former Swift Current Broncos head coach Graham James.
     Hart also put Fleury down for the count when it came to deciding the team colours. According to a source in Calgary, the Hitmen will look a lot like the Hitman himself, dressing in black, white and - you guessed it - pink.
     Finally - the perfect colour scheme to appeal to Alberta hockey traditionalists.
