Richard Horrocks was last seen on March 1, the day his parole was suspended, at his home on 1963 Third Avenue. He’s described as a white male, five feet six inches tall. He weighs 128 pounds with dark brown to black hair and hazel eyes. He has a record for theft, robbery, assault, assault with a weapon and narcotics possession. He is considered violent. Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George detachment office or Crime Stopper at 564-TIPS. Horrocks Nine months for thefts Diver presumed dead Assault Rodney David Hoppe has been sentenced to serve an 18-month suspended sentence after pleading guilty to assault. Dwayne Edward Munk has pleaded guilty to assault, escaping from lawful custody and narcotics possession charges. He’ll be in court on March 21 for an electronic monitoring report. Allison Kelly Sam has pleaded guilty to assault and has been ordered to serve a one-year suspended sentence. Mischief Ian James Loepky has pleaded not guilty to causing mischief to property under $1,000 in value and has been ordered to return to COURTREPORT court March 29 for a pretrial conference. Possession of Stolen Property Kenneth Colson has pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property under $1,000 in value. He’s been ordered to serve one day in jail and serve 18 months on probation. Theft Trevor James Broadbent has been ordered to serve one day in jail and 18 months on probation on a charge of theft of property over $1,000 in value. Kevin John Grove has pleaded guilty to theft of property under $1,000 in value and has been sentenced to serve nine months on probation and pay a $150 Victim Services charge. Uttering Threats Ronald Harvey Umpherville has pleaded guilty to uttering threats of death or serious bodily harm and failure to comply with a probation order. He’s been ordered to serve an 18-month suspended sentence. Miscellaneous Jeffery Bryon Arnold has pleaded guilty to resisting a peace officer and has been ordered to pay a $500 fine. By JONATHON GREEN Cariboo News Sen’ice A Prince George man is presumed drowned following a diving accident at Canim Lake, northeast of 100 Mile House. RCMP Staff Sergeant Martin Sarich says Jim Kirby, 31, and Brad Conniff, 32, entered the large lake in open water near Boss Creek on the lake’s northeast shore at about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two men, employees of Squidley Down Under Underwater, had come to retrieve a submerged snowmobile After locating the machine in two dives, they went down a third time but experienced regulator trouble and ran out of oxygen. Mr. Kirby managed to surface but Mr. Coniff did not. An RCMP dive team from Kamloops, plus a remote control mini-sub from Vancouver equipped with a camera and lights, entered the lake at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Early morning robbers still on the loose Local police are looking for two men that robbed the Camelot Court Motel early Monday morning. According to police reports, the two men forced the front lobby door of the motel on 1,600 East Central Street shortly after four a.m. The cash box and a small amount of money were stolen.
