The vision for this Committee of Prince George as a healthy and sustainable community, is a city which: • has a strong community focus and sense of civic pride; • develops and preserves a clean, safe, accessible, attractive, and sustainable environment; • offers equal access to health, housing, education, employment, recreation, and the arts; • provides access to a wide variety of services that are intergenerational, accessible, supportive, coordinated, planned, responsive to change, and effective; • encourages diversity and choices in the delivery of support programs that promote health & sustainability, are prevention oriented, and community based; and • develops and maintains a comprehensive data base for planning and evaluation.
