                                      The Open Learning Agency (OLA) provides more educational services to more people in British Columbia than any other institution. Who do we serve?
WORKING ADULTS
Credit for what you know and courses when and where you want them make OLA a fast and affordable route to a diploma or degree. Since its creation, more than 200,000 adult learners have enrolled at OLA.
COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Every year, thousands of students at BC colleges and universities combine OLA distance courses with their on-campus studies.
STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
K-12 students throughout BC use distance courses developed by OLA. Our Community Learning Network, a web site designed to help teachers integrate technology into the classroom, receives more than 1.5 million hits every month.
NEW CANADIANS
Since 1995, OLA has helped almost 10,000 people
who were educated outside of Canada gain the recognition
they need to pursue their career and academic goals.
JOB SEEKERS
Every year, more than 20,000 British Columbians who are unemployed or in transition use OLA's career preparation, job search, and job placement services.
TELEVISION VIEWERS
OLA's Knowledge Network offers a full range of commercial-free, educational programs, drawing more than one million viewers per week throughout the province.
