Fraser ave. and Winchester street, Prince George. 80-88x Corporation of the City of Prince George BY-LAW~No. 46 Whereas by the "Electric Light Completion Authorization By-law, 1917, of the City of Prince George, finally passed on the day of February, 1917, the Municipal Council of the City of Prince Georgfe were authorized to complete and pay for the electric light plant and equipment constructed uader. the authority of By-laws Nos. 14 and 17 of the By-laws of the City of Prince George; And whereas the estimated cost of the completion of and paying for said work is the stun of fifteen thousand ¦($15,000) dollars:. And whereas for the purpose and with the object of completing and paying for the said works authorized by the said By-laws, it is necessary to Ikhtow the said sum of Fifteen thousand ($15,000) dollars upon the credit of the City of Prince George, and to issue debentures therefor" payable within fifteen (15) years from the date thereof, and bearing interest) at the rate of six (6) ptfv cent, per annum, which is the amount of the debt intended to be createcLby this by-law. And whereas it will be necessary to raise annually the sum of $815.00 for the payment of the debt and $900.00 for the Dayrneut of the interest thereon, making in all $1,715.00 to be raised \ annually by rate for the payment of the debt and interest: • And whereas the amount of the . whole rateable land or improvements or real property in the whole municipality, according to the last revised as-Kessment roll, is $2,706,200.00.
