British Columbia Will Provide Measure to Ensure Women a Vote
The women to whom the franchise was given at the last provincial   election   will   be fully
notice. As a matter of fact a number of those retiring were supporters of Mr. Campbell, but owing to irregularities in formation of associations which they represented more requested to retire during the business session.

**Bu.t the declaration of that referendum has been delayed by exceptional causes long after its expected time and there is now a risk that women voters will not be able to get their names on the register until next year. To remedy this condition the attorney general has brought in a bill granting the women the franchise forth with and making arrangements for the registration of their names on the voters' lists at the earliest moment.
