Where the Press is censored, or is in any way controlled by outside interests, the people who read that the paper are likewise controlled. The Free Press, here at CNC, is not immune. There is a move by the Treasurer to make the Press sign a Contact which would include a number of items that take away the Autonomy ana Integrity of a FREE Press. If the past issues have not Jaeen up to the standard one would .expect from a College paper, is that reason to try to muzzle us? It is of vital importance that each and every student ,part-time or full time,U.T. or Trades, young and the mature ,' is aware of the need for a Free and unbiased FREE Press. This paper is committed to the reporting of news relevant to the College and Community. If this is unflattering , then it obvious what is required: pick up the socks and do better! A paper is the conscience of a community, and if it hurts.. It would be nice to be able to hand out roses , when earned!
