Ik p - Thursday, February AM 1 987 Editorial: By an act of council, and massive lobbying by various groups, including the FREE PRESS, we now have a minor's lounge. It is located next to the Student Association office, and the cafeteria. Games, including videos, pool, foosbail. chess, cards, cribbage. etc. are provided for your entertainment. The Academy II. as it's called, also sells coffee and hot chocolate for fifty cents.a reasonable price. The Academy II is offered as an alternative to the quiet study areas in the library, in hopes that the minors and non-minors alike will take JWr Mb their socializing here. I would offer one note for those or you who want a minors lounge. If you don't use it. it will likely revert to an office or storage room again. I would be saddened by this. Many people have lobbied for this and now it's here, so let's get out and make this the place to be. Minors out-number 'adults' at CNC so there should be no problem. See you there, Daniel Lansall.
