hilarious

beginning.
It
had
some
great
jokes,
but
was
not
as
spectacular
near
the
ending.
Sally
Fields
role
in
this
film
was
terrific.
I
felt
this
movie
was
a
changing
role
for
Torn
Hanks:
he
said,
"I
played
the
natural
guy
in
an
unnatural
situation."
But
I
must
say
the
movie
was
focused
more
on
Sally
Fields
role
as
a
housewife
than
Tom
Hanks
role
as

This
week's
feature:
Punchline
Mike:
Hello
again.
Today
we'll
be
reviewing
Tom
Hanks'
latest
picture,
Punchline
which
also
stars
Sally
Fields.
The
movie
revolves
around
the
trials
and
tribulations
of
two
stand-up
comedians.
Tom
Hanks
plays
an
unpleasant
character
for
the
first
time.
His
character
is
an
unpleasant
comic,
one
who
is
good
on-stage
but
is
a
loud
mouthed
jerk
offstage.
Having
recently
flunking
night
school,
Hanks
is
now
trying
to
make
a
career
of
his
night
job
which
is
being
a
comic
while
trying
to
keep
the
news
of
his
failure
from
his
father.
Sally
Fields'
character
is
a
typical
housewife
whose
frequent
performances
as
a
stand-up
comedienne
are
met
with
disapproval
from
her
with
Micheal
Martin
and
William
Miksch
husband
and
children.
In
an
attempt
to
improve
her
talents
as
a
comedienne,
she
pays
Tom
Hanks
character
to
give
her
advice.
The
two
develope
a
shaky
friendship
which
enables
them
to
survive
the
many
problems
they
encounter.
I
find
that
many
people
who
came
to
see
this
film
as
a
comedy
were
disappointed,
although
there
was
some
funny
stuff
in
it.
It
is
more
of
drama
than
a
comedy
and
I
found
that,
as
a
drama,
it
was
a
good
film.
Tom
Hanks
and
Sally
Fields
were
excellent
in
their
performances.
The
plot
was
unique
and
interesting.
Everything
considered,
I
found
this
to
be
an
excellent
film
and
I
give
it
a
definite
thumbs
You
take
a
great
picture...
we
make
a
great
print.

the
name

on
it
or
anything
that
only
has
a
ninety-day
warranty.
"
"What
does
a
Polish
husband
give
his
wife
on
their
wedding
night
that
is
long
and
hard?
His
last
name."
I
found
the
movie
to
be
very
entertaining;
therefore,
I
am
giving
it
a
thumbs
up!
