In our complex and changing technological society, there are increasing educational needs for the general population. Everyone should be afforded access to current and relevant higher education. This the I opportunity is committed to provide. Founded in 1973, City University has established some traditions of its own: The tradition of viewing education as a lifelong process, unrestricted by limitations of time, pattern or location which can hinder fulfillment of educational and professional aspirations. The tradition of providing complete degree programs at times that are convenient to employment and family. This means offering classes at night, on weekends, or through Distance Learning. The tradition of developing programs that meet the need of students and communities. The tradition of instructors -who, in addition to being academically qualified, are experts in their fields, sharing current, state-of-the-art knowledge with their students.
