To offset increased costs in those areas, the maximum book and supply allowance has been increased by 25 percent, from $1600 to $2000. "These improvements are designed to heb students cope with rising costs and inflation," said Strachan. 'They are vital if we wish to safeguard the quality of advanced education in this province.
