BRk r , SM Daniel Lansall, Editor Hi, I'm back. This time, I'd like to thank all the people who volunteered this year. I appreciate you, and the Free Press couldn't survive without people like you. People who are willing to work without regard to when they slept last, or what time in the morning that final is. Seriously though, this is our last issue of the year, put together with a leg of a skeleton crew. My personal thanks to Patricia Davis, who without having to be asked, offered to type in some of the last minute articles; and Sean Stin-son who came in and helped edit the paper. We hope you get something out of this issue, besides the exam schedule. As part of the expansion, and movement towards self-sufficiency of the paper, we purchased a modem. With this we will join the Canadian University Press (CUP). This orginization is a collection of College and University newspapers accross Canada. The modem, will allow us to 'download' stories that have a more national appeal. We hope this will make the paper more interesting to read, and put together.
