The
26th
annual
Descartes
Mathematics
Contest
will
take
place
on
April
20,
1993.
The
contest
is
administered
by
the
University
of
Waterloo
under
the
auspices
of
the
Waterloo
Mathematics
Foundation
Awards.
All
full-time
students
are
invited
to
write
the
contest
paper.
Those
full-time
students
who:
(a)
were
born
on
or
after
January
1,
1973
and
(b)
have
been
attending
a
Canadian
secondary
school
for
at
least
twelve
months
prior
to
December
31,
1992
are
eligible
for
individual
awards
and
team
competition.
Those
students
who
do
not
meet
these
requirements
can
still
write
the
contest.
Trie
College
will
sponser
talented
students
who
wish
to
write
the
contest
Members
of
the
Department
of
Mathematics
will
caoch
participating
students
one
hour
per
week

using
previous
contest
