Commentary

The
Cougars
want
a
new
logo.
Big
deal.
I
care
about
their
game.
I
care
about
how
they
perform
on
the
ice,
and
in
the
few
games
that
I've
seen
here,T
am
not
impressed.
I've
never
made
the
Bigs
but
I
know
what
out
of
shape
means.
I
love
hockey.
I
know
that
it
is
God's
gift
to
me.
Now,
I
pay
thirteen
and
a
half
dollars
and
I
would
like
to
see
a
good
show,
and
then
if
they
don't
perform
well,
I
usually
tend
to
get
pissed
off,
angry,
and
disappointed
about
the
way
that
I
just
spent
my
last
three
hours.
That's
not
all..
.but
my
feelings
may
not
be
important
enough
to
waste
space,
paper,
and
your
precious
time
on.
I
hope
The
Cougars
find
what
they
need
and
want
out
of
hockey.
I
don't
know
how
many
of
them
will
reach
the
top
of
their
game.
I
guess
it's
worth
finding
out
though.
Think
of
Vasilevskii's
future
salary
compared
to
yours.
Well,
it's
plenty
as
my
grandmother
says.
And
as
far
as
I'm
con'
cerned
it's
worth
going
for.
So
good
luck
all
you
hopefuls.
Don't
be
too
proud
to
come
play
with
us
rec.-Ieagu-ers
if
you
want
to.
I'm
sure
that
it
would
be
a
great
pleasure
to
share
the
ice
with
you.
I
sure
am
glad
that
the
NHL
has
come
back
in
line.
I
think
that
hockey
as
a
whole
has
taken
a
shot
to
the
belly
and
had
the
wind
knocked
out
of
it.
It
sent
me
to
wondering
when
Wayne
Gretzky
started
up
his
own
venture
to
bring
together
many
NHL
greats
to
entertain
the
enthusiast
on
tv
and
I
am
quite
certain
that
their
bodies
were
getting
beyond
hope
of
excellent
performance.
Man,
to
pursue
a
hockey
career
has
it's
ups
and
downs,
eh?
I
wonder
if
we
all
could
achieve
our
dreams
if
we
did
something
like
Wayne
did
when
his
father
programmed
him
to
make
the
Bigs
by
having
him
on
skates
when
he
was
only
two
years
old?
Then
Wayne
had
his
future
cut
out
for
him.
He
had
one
choice
and
boy
did
he
succeed....
I'd
say.
A
Disease
called
Apathy
There
is
an
attitude
among
many
people
that
robs
them
of
their
potential,
and
they
don't
even
recognize
it.
There
exists
a
state
of
mind
that
is
an
easy
trap
to
fall
into,
and
a
quick
way
to
insure
that
your
interests
will
never
be
protected,
never
be
realized.
Becoming
anesthetized
with
apathy
is
the
guaranteed
way
to
avoid
stress
ans
responsibility.
Sure,
if
something
doesn't
bother
me
and
"I
don't
care
because
we
can't
do
anything,
right?"
things
are
greatly
simplified.
Easy
and
neat,
a
no
stress
solution.
No
solution
at
all.
By
resigning
ourselves
to
an
attitude
of
apathy
because
of
a
feeling
of
helplessness
is
the
easiest
way
to
become
helpless.
There
are
two
types
of
dog
in
the
world;
the
first
type
lets
itself
get
beaten
and
does
nothing
about
it.
The
other
kind
of
dog
gets
kicked,
and
then
kicked
again
and
then
it
Bites
Back.
It
bites
back,
and
it
bites
hard
and
it
doesn't
get
kicked
anymore.
Rolling
over
only
means
that
you
are
going
to
keep
getting
kicked.
If
our
'masters',
the
government
in
power,
rules
over
its
dogs
and
gets
away
with
taking
all
the
bones,
taking
all
the
kennels
and
getting
lots
of
time
to
be
kicking
when
it's
not
stealing,
without
ever
being
bitten,
our
'master'
will
never
stop
doing
it.
We
have
to
start
reminding
those
in
power
who
they
are
ultimately
answerable
to.
If
we
passively
take
whatever
abuse
they
give
us,
if
we
let
ourselves
get
kicked
without
ever
biting
back,
we
will
get
kicked
to
death.
Our
parent's
generation
has
already
been
kicked
to
death,
they
have
taken
all
that
has
been
given
to
them
without
so
much
as
a
nip.
Now
they
are
trying
to
muzzle
us,
to
close
our
jaws,
to
remove
our
education,
so
we
can't
bite
them
when
they
try
to
take
our
kennels
and
bones.
They
will
try
to
kick
us
to
death.
If
we
are
apathetic,
if
we
Don't
Care,
if
we
don't
get
involved,
we
will
lose
the
small
chance
we
have;
we
will
be
no
more
than
a
bunch
of
stray
and
beaten
dogs,
passive
and
whimpering
at
the
heels
of
our
'master'.
We
have
started
to
bark.
In
time,
shortly
if
ever,
we
will
have
to
start
biting
back
and
show
our
'master'
not
one
set
of
jaws,
but
how
many
teeth
are
in
an
entire
pack.
Get
involved,
use
your
teeth
because
it
is
time
to
start
biting
back!!
