s&n&gvij, Well, here we have it! Spring Break! Soon anywaysiThis is the time to catch up on missed school work, missed T.V. shows that have been taped, and missed friends. We know everyone has their own plans of what the break is going to have in store for them. And we are guessing, catching up on missed school work isn't part of the plan ! ! For most, we are sure that this will be the time for LETTERS TO THE EDITORS To the CNC Free Press: You people can't get over the college stereotype of sex, drugs, and rock and roll! How PATHETIC! You truly are stupid! How can you sleep at night knowing you printed such drivel? It sucks! I don't care if it's just a small newsletter, and I use that term loosely! Quit now, and you all will save us from horrible, terrible ... a lot of R&R. At least that is what we are definitely going to be doing! It is hard to believe spring is almost here! Which means, soon enough, the school year will be over and everyone and their dog will be scrounging around for jobs of every shape and size!! Yes, what fun!!! St. Patrick's Day is also coming up soon. Does anyone know what the deal is with ah, forget it! You don't understand anyway! But understand this! Your ideas ROT!!!!!! Alan Jerkweed Well, this being our first negative comment, and a very mature comment it was, we don't exactly know how to respond! For starters, Mr. Jerkweed, if you feel you could do a better job and write more interesting, non stereo-typical articles for our drivel little newsletter, fly at 'er! All you have to do is talk to the Student Association Council and put in a formal complaint to them about us, and they will look into the horrible job we are doing! For the record, most of our ideas for stories, jokes, and comments are from news releases supplied to us by parliament, and other prestigious universities. If you have a problem with these stories, getting pinched if you don't wear green? That is one aspect of St. Paddy's Day that we have never been able to understand! Crazy customs and traditions ! So just for the record, wear green on March 17th just so you can keep those unmentionable body parts in tact! Well, anyways, our offer of employment is still open to those of you who have the urge to write, draw or pho we welcome you to come to us and we can put you in contact with these sources. Dear Editor, I love the paper but I do have one suggestion. You should get some more writers. Whenever I read the paper I notice the same names everytime. I'm not saying I don't like what they write, I love it, but it would be nice to see some new names. Other than that, keep up the good work. E Sande P.S. My favorite article last issue was the one about the sex and beer in Universities! 5.1 times a week, my goodness we love the bedroom!! We would like to thank you ISSUE 4 1996 tograph. We will pay you, if that is the push you were waiting for. Good money too, very good money! As you can see, the letters to the editors keep coming in. Some are nice and some aren't. We believe everyone of you is entitled to their opinion. Keep those letters coming. Enjoy the rest of the paper, and enjoy your well deserved holiday from the pressures of school. for your suggestions and comments. We are looking to getting more writers but there seems to be a shortage of them around this school. We have six writers on the average and we have usually around two stories for a writer, sometimes three or four. We would welcome any kind of help available if there is anyone out there that would like to write. We would especially like someone to take on current events and college events. Thank you for the letter and hope we can do what you suggest. anyone has a comment or a suggestion to make, write to us and we will see what we can do for you. Just slip your comment under the door of room 1-107. We look forward to hearing from you.
