2D7701&44 Spring break was here and now it's gone. So now that we are all back from a little R&R it's time to get back to the grind. I'm sure none of you want to hear this, but just think of it this way. The faster we get back into the swing of things the faster we get out of here. Not that CNC is not a great place to be, but I'm sure most of us would rather be on summer break working or just sitting in the sun. St. Patrick's Day seemed to be a hit, no one seemed to be too badly bruised this year. Even though we still don't know what the deal is with the pinching that happens on St. Patrick's Day if you don't wear green. Well the closer we get the the end of school the closer we get to the end of the paper. Before you leave for your summer holidays, please consider coming down to see us for a position on next year's staff. Our room number is 1-107 and the office hours are posted on the door, or you could leave a message under the door or LETTERS TO THE EDITORS Dear Editor, The paper could use more personal opinions. Lets hear what you all think and not just the facts. I would find the paper more stimulating to know how you as writers feel about the topics you write about. Thanx. Darin Edwards Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, including us, the writers. I think though, sometimes being politically correct is also useful when printing factual information especially if the opinion of the writer may offend some of our readers. We would love to put more of our own opinions in the paper but then we would begin to receive complaints that our paper is too opinionated ! Either way, we won't be pleasing someone. Though I can't promise because it all depends on how our writers feel, considering it is their asses that will be put on the line, we will see what we can do to become more "opinionated". Thank you for your letter. ISSUE 5 1996 in the Student Association Office. For those of you that don't really know what the Student Association is. It is equivalent to Student Council, yet they offer more information on things such as: student housing; student support; a college newspaper; and radio service; elections; meetings; used books; forums; and financial aid. As you can see the Student Association has many things that can help you as a student. If you would like more in depth information on any of theses things feel free to talk to any of the council members. Who are Marvin Fox (President), Marcus Bugoy (Vice President), Kim Montgomery (Secretary), Rob Clark( Activities Coordinator), Christina Boric and Aron Reid (Communications Coordinators), and of course Wendy Desmarais (Office Manager). Well keep those letters to the Editors coming, we love to receive them (well most of them anyways) and answer them. Until next time keep reading and enjoy. We appreciate all your questions and comments and enjoy hearing from you. If you have something to say just write to us and slip it under the door of our room. 1-107. Thankyou for taking the time to tell us how you feel.
