Hate
propaganda
against
the
colour,
the
race,
the
sexual
preference,
the
religious
beliefs,
etc.,
has
infected
our
society
for
centuries.
This
article
discusses
anti-homosexual
pamphlets
which
were
displayed
for
years
at
Ave-Maria
in
Prince
George
before
they
were
removed
from
the
shelves.
This
store
offers
a
friendly
atmosphere,
health
food,
religious
items
among
other
things.
It
is
friendly
that
is,
until
you
take
the
time
to
check
out
the
pamphlets
displayed
there.
"You
are
15
times
more
apt
to
be
killed
by
a
gay
than
a
heterosexual
during
a
sexual
murder
spree"

There
are
books
available
through
various
resources
explaining
the
sexual
behaviour
of
homosexuals.
These
are
written
in
a
fairly
scientific
manner,
unlike
the
propaganda
displayed
at
Ave-Maria.
The
stats
alone
in
these
pamphlets
are
somewhat
of
a
farce.
For
example:
"70
of
gays
estimated
that
they
had
sex
only
once
with
over
half
of
their
partners,
and
gays
average
somewhere
between
10
and
110
different
partners
per
year."
Finding
this
disturbing,
I
decided
to
surf
the
net.
It
turns
out
that
25
of
the
individuals
used
in
this
survey
were
prison
inmates
who
couldn't
have
heterosexual
contact
due
to
their
confinement.
Some
which
only
experienced
homosexual
contact
while
in
prison.
One
paragraph
entitled
with
"The
Gay
Legacy"
opens
with
"homosexuals
rode
into
the
dawn
of
sexual
freedom
and
returned
with
a
plague
that
gives
every
indication
of
destroying
most
of
them."
The
writer
is
talking
about
AIDS.
First
off,
AIDS
is
not
"just"
a
homosexual
disease.
The
Center
for
Disease
Control
last
year
reported
that
over
90
of
all
AIDS
suffer
ers
are
homosexuals,
bisexu-als,
or
intravenous
drug
users.
The
remaining
10
is
made
up
of
heterosexuals
and
those
receiving
the
virus
via
secondary
infections,
such
as
blood
transfusions.
Basically,
this
propaganda
lacks
dealing
with
the
most
important
evidence
when
writing
about
such
a
touchy
subject
and
that
evidence
is
the
facts.
This
article
only
touches
lightly
on
the
ideas
published
in
the
pamphlets
due
to
censorship.
Also,
we
do
not
wish
to
subject
our
readers
to
such
offensive
material.
I
leave
you
with
one
final
quote
from
the
pamphlets:
"We
must...provide
incentives
for
those
tempted
by
homosexuality
to
not
act
upon
their
desire.
Our
compassion
for
drug
addicts
does
not
lead
us
to
promote
and
legalize
drug
use...Likewise,
the
nation
has
begun
to
treat
tobacco
use
as
self-destructive
and
anti-social.
Recently,
however,
we
have...passed
laws
restricting
smoking...we
must
adopt
the
same
approach
to
sexual
behaviour."
