Hancock was the final shooter in sudden death overtime for the West, notching his only goal of the game. Andrew Luciuk is second in team scoring with 27 goals and 37 assists. Blair Betts is the only Cougar who will be attending the Prospects Game in Toronto. Blair the participation you Press worbforyou! is ranked in the Top Ten among forwards in the WHL. Look for Blair to go in the Top 50 in the NHL draft. Joel Kwiatkowski was one of three Cougars selected to the WHL All-Star Game. 'Kiwi' scored two goals at the All-Star game; he is leading all Cougar D-men in the points race. Joel has 15 goals and 37 assists, with a rating of plus 12 in 47 games. Eric Brewer is side lined with a shoulder injury. Brewer was the third member of the Cougars selected to play in the All-Star game but was unable to attend due to his injury. Scott Myers is second in almost every category in goaltender stats in the WHL. Scott Myers should have been going to the prospect game but was over looked by the NHL Scouts. Team Note- The Cougars have surpassed last years win totals with just over half the season gone. Look for the Cougars to pick-up their level just a bit as we head into the playoffs.
