Like the Student Association (which used to run the paper), the Free Press was allowed to run hot without anyone at the reigns. It was YOUR money that was wasted. Students do not make earn enough to see their money pissed away by immature "junior generals" playing at management. YOU have the right to see where your money is spent. YOU have the right to contribute. YOU have the responsibility to make .sure the student governments are not micro-managing themselves into debt and now it is MY I once heard a guy say to a woman 'What time do you get off?' and she said in about 10 minutes, and his reply was 'can I watch?' -Frank Downing " I lost my phone number, can I have yourse?" - Jenine Keeler responsibility to get this paper out of hock by the end of the semester. It is probably too late now, but next semester why don't you get off your asses, and make sure the Student Association Executive and the Free Press is not blowing your money on trips and jackets and frivolous items that in no way help you the student. It is your right and responsibility. If the student governments are wasting your money, then refuse to pay them. Write letters, take them to small claims court anything, just don't let yourselves be played for fools again. It is time YOU got involved. The STAFF CREDITS Editorial Two weeks ago we received a call from our printers (PG Free Press) informing us that we owed over five thousand dollars. We were understandably surprised. As it turns out, until I took over the paper, the past editors had not paid their bills for two years. What does this mean to you? It means the student contributors will be paid much less in the future, if at all. It also means the paper will not be running contests, giveaways or our highly anticipated student year end parties.
