Why do we sit here silently while corporations manu Thanks to Editor: I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to the people who are putting the campus paper back on its feet. I'm sure it's taken a lot of hard work. And it will take even more hard work to keep it going. I decided to write this letter after talking to a former CNC student. This individual was extremely pleased to Free Forum staff hear of the rebirth of the paper. Now living outside the community this person was still enthusiastic. It made me think that maybe I should add my support as well. As this is the first issue of the paper I'm not sure if this will be published. But just in case it is I wanted to say something to the other students. In the months ahead it will be easy for us to blast the control lives. The earth and our lives belong to us let's take back our freedom. This newspaper is a free press. It is our belief that information should be free from restriction. This paper will not obscure the truth. This publication is not a mainstream media it is here to inform you, not manipulate you; to empower you, not control you. It is here for you to share and participate in. It is a free exchange of ideas. We are only as strong as the people who participate , so please write, draw, photograph, and read in support of a free press.
