There is some bittersweet news in the office today. On the
bright side, I have been promoted to the role of the Commu-
nications Officer! On the more sombre side, I have to give up
my position as the editor-in-chief. This is not something I am
doing lightly, but I am very excited at the prospects of the role

| am going into.

I am not leaving the Confluence altogether, however. As the
Communications Officer, I am overseeing the development of

the magazine for the foreseeable future.
